A BELIEF IN DIALOGUE EVENT on Zoom
'One God - Many Masks
We have been unsuccessful in booking a speaker for this Sunday and will therefore begin with a review of what is available on our website before joining this Zoom event from the Hall. As you will see below you can register to join the event from home if you prefer.

Is there just one way to God, or are there many ways? Or is there no God at all, only the mystery and gift of life on this earth. Does this diversity of perspectives make any difference? Can we still live together and all our children flourish?

The  subject will be addressed by a thoughtful panel of profoundly different world views:

Lat Blaylock – Member of Church of the Martyrs Anglican Church, Leicester, England. Lat is a religious educator, having taught the subject for 12 years and worked as an RE adviser for 30 years. He edited RE Today, a professional magazine for Religious Education teachers for 20 years until 2023.
Sundar Madhava – Teacher of Hinduism at the Krishna Avanti Hindu school, Leicester, England. Sundar has also been running courses on the Bhagavad Gita for the past 10 years in London and Leicester for working professionals and students, and conducts Hindu wedding ceremonies as a wedding priest worldwide.
Farah Morley – a Muslim author, artist and designer who has lectured to diverse audiences, including the BBC, the internationally renowned Beyond the Border festival, The Quest Foundation, and the UK government. She has spoken on aspects of spirituality, multiculturalism, education, and the decorative arts. She lives in Cardiff, Wales with her husband and children.
Jeremy Rodell – Dialogue Officer for Humanists UK, London, England. Jeremy has a particular interest in the changes taking place in the British religion and belief landscape, and the role of open and constructive interactions between people with humanist and religious worldviews. For many years he has been a humanist school speaker for both Humanists UK and the Faith & Belief Forum and is the humanist representative on his local Standing Advisory Council on Religious Education.
